John Stratton, MD
Dr. Stratton is an attending physiatrist at the Washington, DC Veteran Affairs Medical Center. He sees a variety of physical medicine and rehabilitation patients including musculoskeletal and neurologic injuries, and sees patients in the wheeled mobility clinic. Before his current position, he worked for the Mount Vernon Rehabilitation Medicine Associates, seeing both inpatients and outpatients across the spectrum of rehab care.
After graduating from Ross University School of Medicine he completed his intern year in internal medicine at Washington Hospital Center before completing his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency training at the National Rehabilitation Hospital.
Dr. Stratton is the designated institutional officer for the rehabilitation department at the Washington DC VA Medical Center. This facility is a core training site for the Georgetown University/National Rehabilitation Hospital Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency training program. In his role, Dr. Stratton assists in training residents in outpatient musculoskeletal care, brain injuries, and wheeled mobility clinical care.
