Why NRH? My initial experience with NRH was that of meeting a few of the residents at the AAPMR Annual conference. They were all very friendly, motivated, intelligent, fun and most importantly well rounded. I felt like we shared a lot of similar interests. During the pre-interview dinner, nearly all of the residents attended. They were happy and sincerely loved their program and co-residents. On interview day I was very impressed by the presentation and transparency by the faculty and residents. Being a categorical program the medicine year curriculum seems challenging and includes a significant amount of elective time with many electives to choose from. And of course, NRH has an outstanding reputation of training elite physicians taught by some of the most experienced and renowned physicians in the country. Lastly, I have always wanted to live in Washington DC, a fast paced lively city full of culture, diversity, history, and entertainment. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to call DC home and join the NRH family!
