STIMULATION MOVEMENT STUDY

Title: Stimulation to improve movement

Status: Recruiting

Sponsor: NIH/NICHD

PI: Michelle Harris-Love

Additional Info: We are looking for volunteers who have had a stroke more than 6 months ago and have weakness in the stroke-affected arm for a new clinical trial – Stimulation To Improve Movement (STIM). Participants will receive stimulation to each of three different brain areas combined with a session of arm exercise. In addition, we will ask you to get an MRI to guide where we place the TMS, but if you are unwilling or unable to have the MRI, you will still be allowed to participate in the study. It will require up to 15 visits to MedStar NRH.
