Why NRH?  I was blown away by the level of professionalism exhibited by the residents and faculty on my interview day. The virtual interview cycle made it difficult to get a feel for programs, however, my NRH interview day was so thorough and comprehensive that it was obvious that the program takes pride in making sure its residents have the best training experience possible. Additionally, everyone I interacted with clearly read my application in-depth and seemed genuinely interested in learning more about me. Outside of the hospital, I was impressed that the residents are genuine friends. Between the supportive family atmosphere and the abundant training opportunities unique to Washington D.C. and NRH, I felt comfortable trusting my intuition and choosing NRH for the next phase of my medical training.
