MedStar Physical Therapy Services Attains Highest Honor Yet for Network, with 2019 Ascend Practice of the Year Award

MedStar Physical Therapy, which employs outpatient physical, occupational and speech therapists as part of the MedStar National Rehabilitation Network, along with a variety of specialists across Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia, received the honor for its commitment to its patients, helping them meet their goals and overall quality of service. Those in the profession of physical therapy all over the U.S., vote each year on the practice most deserving of this award.

“To be recognized as the Ascend Practice of the Year for outpatient therapy is an incredible honor,” says John Brickley, PT, MA, Vice President of MedStar Health Physical Therapy Services. “To be presented with this honor by esteemed colleagues from across the country in the rehabilitation profession is immensely satisfying.”

Brickley cites a team-oriented approach along with greater access to care for patients as one of the key drivers of MedStar Physical Therapy’s and Outpatient’s success.
