De Luigi’s Article selected for a Scientific Paper Presentation at the 2015 AAP Annual Meeting

November 19, 2014— The Association of Academic Physiatrists (AAP) Board of Trustees and Program Committee has selected the article titled Administration of Platelet Rich Plasma to Hip Labral Tears Reduces Pain and Improves Function for a Scientific Paper Presentation and a Top 5 Submission at the 2015 AAP Annual Meeting in San Antonio, March 10 – March 14, 2015.

Arthur Jason De Luigi, MD, a Georgetown University Rehabilitation Medicine Associate Professor, is the Principal Investigator of the paper along with Andrew Gordon, MD, Christopher Karam, MD, Zachary Gustin, MD, and Daniel Blatz, MD. The oral paper presentation is scheduled for Thursday, March 12, 2015

The AAP was founded in 1967 to serve as the national organization of physiatrists who are affiliated with medical schools. The AAP is a member organization of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). The AAP mission is concerned with issues such as support for academic departments, improving the quality of teaching programs and encouraging the development of physiatric research.
