Oluwole O. Awosika, MD is a board certified Neurologist with clinical and research interest in Neurorehabilitation. His particular area of focus is in finding novel and non-invasive ways to promote motor recovery after neurological injury. He has co-authored several papers related to neuroplasticty in spinal cord injury and demyelinating disorders.
Dr. Awosika has a double BS in Neuroscience and Physiological Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, and underwent medical training at the University Of Illinois College Of Medicine. Thereafter, he completed his Adult Neurology Residency Training at training at Harvard Medical School (Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospitals). He is concurrently a post-doctoral research fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Leonardo Cohen in the Human Cortical Physiology and Stroke Neurorehabilitation Section at the National Institutes of Health.
