Dr. Philip Appel Presents at American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine (ACRM) Annual Conference 2018

Philip Appel, PhD, Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine at Georgetown University School of Medicine and Director Emeritus of Psychological and Neuropsychological Services, MedStar National Rehabilitation Network, participated in a 2-part presentation at ACRM Annual Conference 2018 entitled, “Chronic Pain and Suffering”. The presentation addressed the psychological and emotional aspects of chronic pain. Concepts of suffering were discussed and a multi-stage model for addressing such was presented.
