Mana Ali Carter, PhD wants to help eliminate health disparities

Dr. Mana Ali Cater, Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine, Georgetown University Medical Center, was recently featured in the online journal of the American Psychological Association (APA) where she discusses COVID-19 and health disparities in the African American community. In the article, Dr. Carter highlights new research that is being conducted to address these inequities: “It’s on my heart and on my spirit to do something for my community,” she says.
