Why NRH? During my interview day at NRH, I was very impressed with all the program had to offer. NRH is a top notch Rehab Hospital that has a dedicated faculty with diverse training backgrounds that can help mold my broad interests into finding the right fit within PM&R. I was particularly impressed with friendliness and camaraderie displayed amongst the faculty, staff and residents. The training environment is also exceptional offering a robust curriculum, opportunities for research through the NIH, Ultrasound training, a variety of fellowship training exposure and a diverse patient population in the DC area. I was also impressed with how fondly the residents seemed to talk about the program. Everyone seems to find their right fit either in the workplace or matching into excellent fellowships of their choice. All of these factors made this institution and the DC area feel like a promising place to call home for the upcoming years!
