Why NRH? I had the incredible opportunity to rotate at the NRH as a 4th year medical student. During my rotation, I was able to work alongside extremely knowledgeable and hardworking faculty, all dedicated toward teaching the next generation of physicians. I was amazed by the resources and support available to those who choose to pursue medical innovation and research. Training at Walter Reed and NIH gave me insight into just how devoted this program was to provide a comprehensive and dynamic experience to all its residents. Most striking was the camaraderie among the residents, which made the work environment quite enjoyable and conducive for personal growth. Having such a strong team to collaborate with, such excellent teachers and mentors, and the fact that I can achieve all my aspirations within the state that I call home collectively sealed the deal for me!
